Sophie Ward

I am a 24-year-old professional dancer teacher, choreographer and performer from Ireland, County Wicklow. I have been an active part of the dance community for 20 years and have been a full-time dance teacher for six years. In 2022, I completed a diploma in Dance Technique, Choreography and Performance with distinctions and have since enjoyed putting my knowledge of Hip Hop, Commercial, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Musical Theatre to use.  I have had the pleasure of performing at one of Ireland’s biggest festivals, Electric Picnic, for three years in a row, and have danced and choreographed for multiple music videos such as for major African Artist, Yemi Alade. Through my teaching career, I hope to inspire the young generation to actively pursue a career in dance and develop themselves as the future of our industry.
